POETQ is the online application we are using to explore perceptions of joint commissioning between health and social care.
The application is designed to be intuitive and enjoyable to complete. The part that differs most from the usual online surveys is a process of Q sorting. Q sorting is essentially a form of rank ordering a series of items. In our case we are interested in ordering statements that describe possible consequences or outcomes of joint commissioning. Traditionally Q sorting online has involved either ticking boxes or lots of dragging and dropping of statements on the screen. POETQ is different in how it utilities a unique 'thinning approach'.
